There are plenty of over the counter remedies which are effective and that provide relief for the problem – useful if you are travelling to places. It is amazing how a change of diet can affect you though, and there is nothing in this world that irritates the problem worse than changing from a no-spices diet to a very spicy one. I know, personally, that if you travel to a country with spicy foods, the best thing you can take with you is some soothing suppositories…

No matter what method is used to remove hemorrhoids, they all seem to have the same afterthough attached – that it may not be a permanent cure for the problem, and that the hemorrhoids possibly could come back again. It would help if instead of all the research money being poured into the treatments – it was poured into trying to find out just why these nasty little things form in the first place! You would think that if 40%of the population had them, someone would have come up with a proper treatment for them by now – after all – we much spend a fortune on treatments for the problem. I reckon the reason why no-one has come up with a real solution yet is that the money hey earn from keeping us in pain and torture with to too good to give it away by making a permanent solution. I suppose that’s because it must do something to your system – stop you absorbing the calories or something. It will be interesting to see what the new product has in it – I have such a problem with constipation that I am doubled over regularly. If the new tablets are effective, that would be good, but I’m not holding my breath until I’ve tried some.

It seems to me like this could be a total waste of money – honey is hone is honey, isn’t it? If not – then it’s the manuka bush that’s so important, in which case – why don’t they just chop it up and put it in tablet form? It would be cheaper to post to other countries in the first place. I don’t see what all the fuss is about the honey. I haven’t found anyone who has tried it yet, and it’s really expensive to buy. But then again, if it does work, what have I got to lose except for a bit of cash. I hope it will be worth it. Has anyone else tried this stuff yet?
